Soft, cuddly companions with the added benefit of comforting weight.

These gorgeous Weighted Animals by Sensory Matters combine the comfort of a seriously soft, loveable plush toy with the calming, grounding sensation of weight.

The weight can provide extra proprioceptive input and may be helpful during quiet time, relaxation, focused activities or transitions. They are popular in homes, classrooms, kinder and childcare settings, and their friendly animal designs mean they look and feel like ordinary cuddly companions rather than clinical sensory equipment.

Each animal has a secure, removable weighted insert, with the insert double stitched and double layered for durability. The removable insert can be taken out when the plush needs washing.

Weighted products may be suggested by an Occupational Therapist as part of an individual sensory plan to support regulation, focus, relaxation or settling for sleep.
