Expandaball – Breathing ball

Expandaballs are great for working on breathing control during periods of stress. Pull the ball out as you breath out and push it in as you breath in. 

The Expandaball (also known as the breathing ball or Hoberman Sphere) is a favourite prop of many teachers. When introduced as a tool for calming and connecting to the breath, rather than just a toy, the Expandaball captivates kids attention.

The balls are a spherical web of several interconnected scissor joints. This series of colourful, flexible joints open and close easily when pushed and pulled, making an expanding ball toy that’s incredibly addictive to play with. 

Uses for the Expandaball:

Breath Pacing: It naturally regulates breathing. Inhaling while opening the ball and exhaling while closing it slows down the heart rate and calms the nervous system
