Toileting Routine Visual Chart – A Step-by-Step Visual Support for Independence
Support your child's toilet training journey with the Toileting Routine Visual Chart—a practical, child-friendly visual aid designed to promote independence, reduce anxiety, and build confidence in the bathroom.
This laminated visual schedule clearly outlines each step in the toileting routine using Boardmaker PCS (Picture Communication Symbols)—ideal for children who benefit from visual instructions, including those with Autism, ADHD, developmental delays, or sensory processing needs.
There are 2 visual routines included in the pack; a visual routine for sitting to use the toilet and one for standing to use the toilet. Each option is printed and laminated for us with and without tabs.
Option 1 is a printed and laminated visual routine strip showing each step in the process
Option 2 features fold-down “done” tabs, allowing children to mark off each step as they complete it. This interactive element helps them track progress visually, reinforcing routine and providing a sense of accomplishment.
Product Features:
✔ Two visual options included – one for sitting and one for standing to urinate, to suit different needs and routines
✔ Fold-down tabs – children can visually see which steps are complete, supporting sequencing and task focus
✔ Laminated for durability – easy to wipe clean and built to last in home, school, or therapy settings
✔ Ideal for Montessori-style learning, special education classrooms, or home toilet training
This functional visual tool is perfect for toddlers, young children, or individuals in special education settings who benefit from structure and routine.
🎯 Created with practical use in mind, this chart supports language development, routine-building, and toileting success—a must-have for parents, educators, and therapists alike.
