My husband and I tried different music with it and it turns out dance and electro-swing work really well for the pulsing along with the songs and some other indie music. I adore the little fellow and spent nearly an hour just watching it when we finally set it up. I would recommend this to others who like their music. I found it was confused by lo-fi music as they aren't usually clean tracks musically.
