Ordering

How can I pay for my order?

We accept Credit Card, Direct Debit (Bank Transfer), Afterpay, Paypal and NDIS funding.

If you require an invoice before paying for your order, select the option ‘Generate Invoice’ at the checkout page and you will be sent an email with your invoice that can then be paid via bank transfer.

I didn’t get confirmation of my order, did it work?

You should receive an email confirmation of your order within minutes of successful payment. If you haven’t received an email, please check your spam/junk folders, as emails sometimes end up there. 

Can I get a quote or place a purchase order for bulk orders?

We are happy to provide you with a quote.

You can use the contact form here to let us know your requirements and we will contact you within 2 business days.

To place a purchase order and receive an invoice to send to Accounts Payable, simply place your order on the website and select the option ‘Generate Invoice’ at checkout. An invoice will be emailed through ready for payment. All invoices are due within 5 days of issue.

NDIS

Can I use funding from my NDIS plan when I order with you?

Yes!

Sensory Street is proud to be a registered National Insurance Disability Scheme (NDIS) provider. Our provider number is 4050082416.

How do I order with my NDIS funding?

There are 3 types of fund management for NDIS plans. We have an option on our checkout page for each funding option.

Which NDIS registration groups are you approved for?

We are approved to provide support throughout Australia under the NDIS registration groups:

  • 0103 – Assistive Prod Personal Care/Safety
  • 0112 – Assistive Equip-Recreation
  • 0124 – Comms & Info Equipment

Shipping

How much is delivery?

We aim to keep shipping prices as low as possible. We do this by using a combination of Australia Post and other couriers to find the best shipping rate for your order.

We have flat rate shipping of $12 Australia wide for orders under 2kg.

Orders between 2kg and 6kg: $20 flat rate shipping.

Orders over 6kg: $30 minimum.

For heavy/bulky items you may receive an invoice for extra shipping depending on your location within Australia.

Express rate shipping Australia wide is available from $19.95

Heavy/bulky items include:

  • Weighted lap pads/blankets
  • Comfort rollers
  • Bubble Columns
  • Anywhere Chair
  • Sensory Floor Tiles

If your order includes a bulky item such as a sensory bubble tube, anywhere chair or calming cloud chair, we will calculate the shipping cost and send you a separate invoice.

We offer free local pick up from our warehouse in Rowville. Select the option ‘Click and Collect’ at checkout. When your order is ready, you will receive an email with the pickup address details.

How can I track my order?

You will receive an email with a tracking number once your order has been packed and shipped. Please check your junk/ spam folders, as emails sometimes end up there.

Do you ship internationally?

We ship across Australia and New Zealand.

Shipping to New Zealand is $35 standard, or $50 express.

Returns

My order is damaged or broken, what should I do?

Contact us at info@sensorystreet.com.au asap with your order number and the details of the damage and we will arrange to replace or refund your order.

I’ve changed my mind; can I swap or return the item?

If the item is unopened in its original packaging, you can return it to us at your expense and we will issue you a credit to spend within our store.

What are the benefits of a sensory box?

Our sensory boxes provide resources and tools which can help children and adults who suffer from anxiety and stress in the home or office to regulate themselves and remain calm and focused.

Giving someone a gift box of sensory and fidget tools that suit their specific needs is a great way to assist them through their everyday struggles, knowing they have their own special box of tools they can access anytime, who wouldn’t love that!

Our boxes are made from high quality material, durable and reusable, with a magnetic closing lid.

Our premade boxes are designed to be used as part of a routine, to help bring some stability. Parents can also use the boxes to create a connection with their child, using the sensory tools and calm breathing visuals together.

On the go! Our ready-made bags are the perfect distraction, packed with sensory and fidget tools for those overwhelming and noisy situations when you’re out an about. Pop one in your handbag, car and child’s school bag so they’re easy to access when you need them most.

Keeping the hands busy with fidget tools allows the mind to focus – fidgets can be quiet and discreet, perfect for workplace meetings, waiting rooms or classrooms.

I have bought some of the squishy toys before and they have broken easily. Do you have squishy toys that will last longer?

We have a range of fun squishy and squeezable tools that can be used for sensory play, emotional regulation or just having fun!

While these toys are intended to be squeezed and stretched, please remember that due to the soft and squishy nature of them, they can be easily damaged by over stretching, fingernail tears or biting. We recommend that when you first open your order, you show your children how to play with and enjoy the tools without damaging them.

If you have a child that is inclined to play roughly, dig fingernails in or bite, you may want to consider wooden toys, putty or hard plastic materials.

The squishy/soft toys are recommended for ages 3 years and above and should always be used under adult supervision.

If there is any sign of damage, dispose of the toys immediately. While the material inside is non-toxic, it should not be ingested.
